These Advertising Terms and Conditions (the "**Agreement**") govern the purchase and placement of advertisements ("**Ads**") in our physical print publication (the "**CALW Publication**"). By submitting an advertisement order and completing follow up submission form and uploading an advertisement design (the "**Submission**"), the Advertiser ("**you**" or "**your**") agrees to be legally bound by these terms.

1. Submission Requirements & Specifications
* Form & Graphics: You must complete all required fields on the advertisement submission form and upload your design in the exact dimensions specified in our public ad-size guidelines, found on the ‘advertise with us webpage’. This must be done with in the advertise with us window for upcoming issue, specified via public guidelines found on the ‘advertise with us’ webpage’.
* Format & Quality: All files must be submitted in the requested high-resolution formats (e.g., print-ready JPEG, 300 DPI, CMYK). We are not responsible for poor print quality resulting from low-resolution files, incorrect colour profiles, or layout errors provided by you.
2. Content Restrictions & Right of Rejection
We maintain strict editorial standards and reserve the absolute right to reject, cancel, or remove any advertisement at our sole discretion, without liability, even if previously accepted or paid for.
**Prohibited Content Includes, but is not limited to:**
* Artificial Intelligence (AI) Material: We explicitly ban the use of entirely AI-generated imagery, art, or copywriting in advertisements. All creative assets must be the result of human authorship or legally licensed traditional stock photography.
* Offensive Content: We do not accept material that is defamatory, obscene, profane, highly political, or deliberately offensive.
* Discriminatory Content: Ads must not promote hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or harm against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
* Illegal or Infringing Material: Ads must not contain illegal offers or infringe upon the intellectual property, copyright, or trademark rights of any third party.
3. Intellectual Property & Warranties
* Your Warranties: You warrant and represent that you own or have secured all necessary legal rights, licenses, clearances, and permissions for all content within the Ad (including logos, copy, fonts, and images).
* Indemnification: You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Publication, its publishers, and employees against any legal claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of the content of your Ad or any breach of your warranties.
* License Granted to Us: You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to print, reproduce, and distribute the Ad within the designated issue of our physical Publication, as well as digital archival copies, and for exemplar or social digital promotion in relation to the printed publication.
4. Payment & Cancellation
* Payment Terms: Full payment must be cleared before the final publication deadline. Failure to pay by the deadline will result in your Ad being pulled from rotation.
* Cancellation by You: Cancellations must be requested in writing before the final layout deadline. Refunds for cancellations after the layout deadline are issued solely at our discretion.
* Rejection Refunds: If we reject an Ad based on content violations outlined in Section 2, a refund will be evaluated minus a administrative processing fee, provided the layout process has not already finalized.
5. Limitation of Liability
* Errors and Omissions: In the event of a printing error or omission on our part that materially degrades the Ad, our maximum liability is limited to either:
1. A partial or full refund of the fee paid for that specific Ad slot.
2. A complimentary replacement Ad slot in the next available issue.
* Indirect Damages: We are not liable for any indirect loss of profits, loss of business, or consequential damages resulting from print delays, distribution errors, or Ad placement choices within the physical layout.

Welcome to our Open Call. By submitting your application, you (the "Artist" or "Applicant") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting your work.

1. Eligibility & Submissions
* Originality: The Artist warrants that all submitted work is their own original creation. The work must not infringe upon the intellectual property, copyright, or moral rights of any third party.
* Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy: Fully automated or text-to-image generative AI submissions are strictly prohibited unless specifically requested by the brief. AI tools may only be used as minor technical aids, and any such use must be explicitly disclosed upon submission.
* Accuracy: All information provided in the application form must be accurate, current, and complete.
2. Intellectual Property & Copyright
* Retention of Rights: The Artist retains full ownership and copyright of their artwork at all times.
* Usage License: By submitting, the Artist grants the Organisers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use images, descriptions, and text from the submission solely for promotional, educational, and documentation purposes across print, digital, and social media channels.
* Credit: The Organisers agree to credit the Artist whenever their work is displayed or published. This extends to CALW publication social media posts for open call selected winners and runners up.
3. Selection Process & Finality
* CALW team are the selection panel The selection panel’s decisions are final and binding. The Organisers are under no obligation to provide individual feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
* Revocation: The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any submission or revoke a publication offer if the Artist violates these Terms and Conditions or misrepresents their work.
4. Sales & Commission (If Applicable)
* Commission Rate: CAL:W will take no commission from any sales applicants make due to any promotion associated with CALW, in regards to our ‘open call’.
5. Data Protection & Privacy
* Data Processing: Any personal data collected during the application process will be stored securely and used solely for the administration of this open call and subsequent publication, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
